Aggression Of The Field Aggression - 1720 Words

Aggression in the NFL When it comes to aggression in sports there are many different factors that play a role in causing it. Athletes may get themselves involved many situations because of on the field aggression, and bring their problems home and take it out on their wife. Another reason that athletes are involved with aggression is because the use of alcohol and drugs. Last but not least, some of these pro athletes are used to being physical all the time and they sometimes forget how strong they are and something that is meant to be unintentional can turn into something serious, fast. I will now explain deeper the reasons that I believe each of these contribute to. Aggression of the field Aggression plays a major role when athletes†¦show more content†¦Jovan Belcher came home from practice one day and just lost it on his girlfriend who was also the mother of his child. He went on to kill her and then kill himself. According to tests that were done, it is believed that this was due to brain damage that he suffered while playing football. (Gregory, 2014) I really believe that these repeated blows can have a lot to do with the domestic violence that NFL players are having with their significant others. Another part of this I believe can be based on how the athlete grew up. When you grow up around domestic violence and abuse, it can become a part of who you are and can cause you to believe that there is nothing wrong with it. This is no different than if someone grew up with a father who was an alcoholic. If this is something that they saw every single day, and then it is almost becomes engrained in them and when they get into an argument with their sign ificant other they think violence is the only answer. This is obviously very wrong, but in my opinion it is almost like a disease that they have. An example of aggression, I look at the Ray Rice situation. What Ray Rice did was so incredibly wrong and I am not at all standing up for him, but when I watch the video and read the different articles, you can see that he really didn’t use much force when he pushed her, but it still knocked her out because of the strength he has. The pressure taken against the client or biased view about their cultures can affect the flow of communication and attitude. Thus, the doc tor always should provide an equal and non-biased atmosphere so the worker will feel comfortable. Appearance also plays a significant role among medical providers as they are also perceived by their attire. As working in the medical office, the doctor should follow a specific way of conduct to ensure discipline. Thus, the worker who is neat and clean makes a good impression on the clients and enables trust. Clients who turn to the doctor who does not follow a specific dress code are not usually trusted and regarded incompetent. Thus, the medical providers should keep the proper facial appearance to support good cooperation with clients. Then, the latter can establish more connection with the doctors and ensure trust when interacting during therapies or treatment. The professional should also possess the computer skills to reduce the load of work and accomplish tasks in a more efficient way. The medical field requires prioritizing the job and choosing the tasks which should be accomplished first. The acquisition of the computer skills enables to track the flow of the work or lead the professional digital journal with all tasks organized rather than writing all tasks on the paper. Working as a medical office assistant, one should possess excellent typing skills to register all information and help clients by using the database. Managing all the information at the computer helps to deal with all financial transactions.
